出品者コメントPicnic Bear is UNTESTED (I do not have any D batteries that it requires). The bear has some discoloration here and there to the white areas of fur and around his nose/mouth but not bad, just normal aging. He is shedding some of his fur but no bald areas. The battery compartment looks good and clean with no corrosion.The mechanism moves freely when I moved it myself, meaning the arms move and the head moves by hand but unknown as to whether it will work with batteries. It comes with its original box which has beautiful artwork on the front but there is a lot of wear to the box with taped corners and some tears.

商品説明※アメリカの現地出品者により作成されたため、英語のまま掲載いたしております。Picnic Bear vintage tin litho battery powered toy by ALPS made in Japan. These came out in the 50's when there was such an attraction to tin litho and battery-operated toys. It comes with its original box although the box has seen some rough times and has wear and tear to the corners (taped) and edges with some missing areas or tears. (see photos) The box does contain the original card inside still that indicates it's ok to gently adjust the bears arms if need be. The bear is holding a plastic cup in one hand and a brown plastic bottle in the other. Apparently from videos I was able to pull up, he is supposed to move in a manner that suggests he's pouring from his bottle into the cup, then lifting the cup to his mouth where his head bobs a couple times and his eyes are supposed to light up. Without having any D size batteries to test him with, I do not know if he actually works. He is being sold as UNTESTED. I moved his arms and head by hand to show that they aren't "frozen or locked up" and they do move in the motion that they should when I move them myself (see video).The tin litho stump he sits on has cute little woodland critters painted on either side and the battery box that the "stump" contains seems to be clean with no corrosion. The bear has some light yellowing of the white areas of his fur, as well as some light yellow spots here and there around his muzzle. His eyes are clear and appear to be like glass light bulbs. His fur IS shedding but I don't see any bald spots on him. If he does work, that will be a testament to how well things were manufactured 70 or so years ago! If he doesn't not work/animate, he is still an adorable collectible with his original box to show off. Please see all photos and the video as they are a part of the description.
